In the past few years I have been learning many new skills to incorporate simple home upholstering projects and other crafty knowledge necessary to make the home a more wonderful place.  It's amazing how a splash of fabric adds to the cohesive feeling of any room.  As my gallery shows, I have done some easier upholstery activities,  made window valances, bed skirts and a wide variety of curtains and pillows.  Unfortunately a lot of my past work happened before digital photographic documentation became a way of life. 

Also, there are always those random kinds of projects that don’t exactly fit into a “category.”  Beyond the pictures I share here of garment bags, refurbished stuffed animals and special made felt cards; I’ve made toaster covers, basket linings, holders for thermometers and all kinds of special made to order items.
